It’s smartly written, well acted, and very entertaining. Julia plays a modestly successful writer who overhears her always supportive husband tell a friend that he really doesn’t like the novel she’s currently working on. To say she’s upset is an understatement. There are lots of laughs in YOU HURT MY FEELINGS, but at the same time it effectively dramatizes the kind of dilemma we all face with friends and love ones. How can you tell someone a hard truth and not hurt their feelings? (Ward Theater complex only)
